I have been a counsellor and psychotherapist in Edinburgh for 15 years.
I trained in Transactional Analysis which teaches us that we all have the ability to change and grow, and to make our own decisions. I work relationally, a method of working which places an emphasis on unconscious thoughts and feelings.
I am a registered UKCP psychotherapist, a certified transactional analyst (CTA), I have a diploma in counselling, an MSc in Psychotherapy, and a certificate in clinical supervision. I belong to IARTA which is a professional community that explores and develops relational theory and practice in Transactional Analysis.

I offer a safe and confidential space for my clients to bring their stories and work through issues that are troubling them, with the aim of achieving a more fulfilling and happy life.
You may be going through one of life’s transitions such as becoming a parent, menopause, divorce, bereavement, or you may be looking for a change of direction in life, maybe looking for more meaning. The issues that are most common for clients to bring to me include anxiety, depression, panic attacks, suicide ideation, despair. These are often a result of trauma brought on by childhood abuse or neglect and unmet relational needs. It could also be due to a disorder of the personality such as borderline personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder etc.
I see individuals and couples, face to face where possible or remotely via Skype.
I also offer supervision to other therapists. The main objective of my supervision is the professional development of the therapist/counsellor, with an emphasis on ethical considerations.
